LSBA's Access to Justice Program works with your local pro bono project to highlight the work of Louisiana's pro bono community and the difference it makes to our state, our system of justice, our communities and, most of all, to the clients served.

  • Preserving Homeownership in Our Communities: How Lawyers Can Help - 3 hour CLE

    Louisiana Appleseed, The Pro Bono Project New Orleans, and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services have organized a 3 hour CLE on heir property and clear title. Participants will learn the law and issues that affect low-income clients so that they can provide pro bono services in their communities.

  • Baton Rouge Bar Foundation Pro Bono Project - Thirst for Justice Walk-in Clinic

  • Statewide Pro Bono Day of Service - Thursday, October 27th

    Pro bono program volunteers throughout Louisiana will focus efforts on serving the public by sponsoring a variety of free legal clinics across the state on Thursday, October 27th. This statewide Day of Service is part of the National Pro Bono Celebration Week, Oct. 23-29, designed to highlight the work of Louisiana’s pro bono community and the difference it makes to the state, the system of justice, and in the lives of clients.

  • Central Louisiana Pro Bono Project - Free Seminar

    The Central LA Pro Bono Project will be hosting a free seminar on Power of Attorneys (durable and health), Wills (living and simple), and general information on custody issues as a part of the GrandPower Program during their regular, monthly meeting from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

    Volunteer attorneys will be available to prepare any documents pertaining to POA's and/or wills. And, Central LA Pro Bono Project will provide lunch to participants.

  • Legal Services of North Louisiana, Monroe Office - Free Advice Clinic

  • Making a Difference Awards Ceremony hosted by the Southeast Louisiana Legal Services' North Shore Pro Bono Project

    Southeast Louisiana Legal Services' North Shore Pro Bono Project will host its second annual awards ceremony on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 12 o’clock noon at the Bonefish Grill in Covington.

    All volunteer lawyers, along with the judges of the 22nd Judicial District Court for the Parishes of St. Tammany and Washington, are invited to enjoy a complimentary lunch as we honor our pro bono volunteers. The guest speaker is Mayor Michael B. Cooper of the City of Covington.
