The Pro Bono Strategic Planning Session will be held at this year's Louisiana Justice Community Conference on Thursday October 14th. The Access to Justice Committee's Pro Bono Subcommittee and Pro Bono Coordinators from across the state will gather to brainstorm how to work together to promote and increase pro bono. The group will cover challenges, accomplishments, and developments in local pro bono communities.

The Pro Bono Volunteer Appreciation reception is hosted by the Judges of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the Judges of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, and the Judges of the First and Second City Courts for the City of New Orleans, in appreciation for the outstanding pro bono representation provided by New Orleans metro area attorneys. The reception has been generously sponsored by the Federal Bar Association.
This Volunteer Appreciation event is open to all active pro bono volunteers of The Pro Bono Project and Judge Jay Zainey's HELP Program, and the members of the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
