LSBA Elections

The Louisiana State Bar Association conducts annual elections for officers, the Board of Governors, the Nominating Committee, the LSBA House of Delegates, the ABA House of Delegates and the Young Lawyers Section Council. As authorized by the Articles of Incorporation, the Board of Governors annually adopts procedures and a timeline for administering the Association’s elections.

Runoff Election Results Certified
Barry H. Grodsky has been certified elected for a three-year term as the First District representative on the LSBA Board of Governors and Erin O. Braud has been certified elected for a two-year term as the Second District representative on the LSBA Young Lawyers Section Council, following the close of runoff voting Feb. 8. Also, all three amendments to the LSBA Articles of Incorporation were adopted (Board approval of legislative positions, registered office and service of process, and law student membership category).
