LSBA Elections

The Louisiana State Bar Association conducts annual elections for officers, the Board of Governors, the Nominating Committee, the LSBA House of Delegates, the ABA House of Delegates and the Young Lawyers Section Council. As authorized by the Articles of Incorporation, the Board of Governors annually adopts procedures and a timeline for administering the Association’s elections.

Currently the Association utilizes a hybrid system whereby qualifying information is mailed to the membership with a form that may be completed and returned to the LSBA. Instructions are also provided for qualifying online. Balloting is conducted online only through an outside firm retained by the LSBA.
