LSBA Elections
The Louisiana State Bar Association conducts annual elections for officers, the Board of Governors, the Nominating Committee, the LSBA House of Delegates, the ABA House of Delegates and the Young Lawyers Section Council. As authorized by the Articles of Incorporation, the Board of Governors annually adopts procedures and a timeline for administering the Association’s elections.
Six LSBA Members Elected in Runoff Races
Six Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) members were elected to leadership positions following the close of runoff voting last month.
Ronald J. Miciotto of Shreveport was elected to the LSBA Board of Governors’ Eighth Board District seat (three-year term).
Elected to LSBA Nominating Committee positions were Donald R. Abaunza and Marc D. Winsberg, both of New Orleans, District 1A seats (one-year terms); and Thomas M. Hayes III of Monroe, District 3E seat (one-year term).
Charles M. Raymond of New Orleans was elected to the LSBA House of Delegates’ Orleans Parish seat (two-year term).
Marta-Ann Schnabel of New Orleans was elected to the American Bar Association House of Delegates seat (two-year term).
