General Information
Bridging the Gap has been planned to acquaint recent law school graduates with many of the practical aspects of a law practice and to afford newly admitted active members of the Louisiana Bar State Bar the opportunity to obtain their mandatory continuing legal education credits. This program is designed especially of newly admitted attorneys.
The Qualifications of Young Lawyers Section Members Every member of the Louisiana State Bar Association who has not reached the age of thirty-nine (39) years or who has been admitted to the practice of law for less than five (5) years, whichever is later, is by virtue thereof a member of the Young Lawyers Section. (Article I, Section 1, Bylaws of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section).
The fee includes course materials, seminar attendance and coffee/refreshment breaks.
Registration Fees - 2009 New Admittees/Young Lawyers: $195 All Others: $420
Cancellation of registration must be received in writing by the LSBA no later than Oct.12. Cancellations will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative charge.
