Emerging Issues in Immigration Law
ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! We are accepting on-site registrations. The fee is $320. Registration is from 8-8:30 a.m. in Gallery 5, located on the 2nd floor of the New Orleans Marriott Hotel. The LSBA accepts cash, check, VISA, MC and Discover.
Immigration Law is more dynamic this year than ever before. Our country's immigration policies are in the process of big changes. Educated and highly skilled foreigners have been forced to wait for years to enter the US, affecting possible investment and job creation. At the same time, illegal immigrants with minor skills have taken advantage of weak border security and getting work where they can find it. One of the great political challenges of our time is making the process of lawful immigration less complicated and arbitrary, as well as providing illegal immigrants with some kind of legal status. Lawrence B. Fabacher, seminar chair, and members well versed in this area will discuss the significant changes and their affects on the immigrant community. Learn what the new rules are for business compliance under U.S. Immigration Law. REGISTER NOW!
