Nomination Deadline is Nov. 30 for Outstanding Civics Teacher Award The nomination deadline is 4 p.m. Nov. 30 for the 2015 President’s Award of Excellence for Outstanding Civics Teacher, an award presented jointly by the Louisiana Center for Law and Civic Education and the LSBA. This annual award recognizes an outstanding Louisiana elementary, middle or high school teacher who imparts knowledge and understanding of law and civic education and demonstrates the use of interactive learning techniques that make a difference in student learning.
