Self-Help Resource Center Opens Near Washington Parish Courthouse in Franklinton Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, in conjunction with the 22nd Judicial District Court, has opened a Self-Help Resource Center at 1005 Cleveland St., Franklinton, across the street from the Washington Parish Courthouse. The center will be open from 9 a.m.-noon on the second and fourth Monday of each month. (Because of December holidays, the center will open on Dec. 8 and Dec. 15.) A grant awarded by United Way of Southeast Louisiana/Washington Parish assisted with funding for the new center, the first of its kind in Washington Parish. The center will provide individuals with legal information, forms and other resources to identify and address common civil legal issues arising from family matters.
