To promote a family-friendly Annual Meeting, the LSBA is offering
a golf tournament and a 5K Run/Walk. All recreational events feature prizes
for the winners and refreshments.
5K Run/Walk
LSBA members, their families and guests are encouraged to enter the 23rd
Annual Guy Wootan Memorial 5K Run/Walk.
Sponsored by the LSBA’s insurance administrator Gilsbar, Inc., the race will be held at 7:30 a.m. Friday, June 13.
Features include:
• 1-mile fun run and walk;
• unique, colorful T-shirts for all entrants;
• awards for various age groups (male and female) for 5K run;
• awards for first, second and third (male and female) walkers;
• posted finish times; and
• refreshments before and after event.
The entry fee is $15 for adults and $10 for runners under 18. Please complete the 5K Run/Walk portion of the Recreation Entry Form. Those registering by Friday, April 25 will receive a T-shirt on Run/Walk day and may pick up their packets at the Gilsbar, Inc. registration desk in Sandestin prior to the race.
Late registration will be accepted at the LSBA Registration Desk at Sandestin on Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12. T-shirts will be mailed to late registrants after the race.
Golf Tournament
The LSBA Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, June 11, with a four-player
scramble format beginning at 8 a.m. The tournament is open to all lawyers
and judges attending the Annual Meeting, as well as their families and guests.
It will be held at Sandestin’s Raven Golf Club. The entry fee is $145 per
player.
To register, complete the Golf Tournament portion of the Recreation Entry Form. Please note your handicap (if you have one) on the entry form to assist in pairing foursomes. If you do not request a partner, you will be paired by the staff.
On-site registration will be available as well.
