Michael Rubin, Esq.: Mike's presentations are "must see" events which leave you with things to think about.  He is a man of many talents.  He heads the Appellate Practice Team of McGlinchey Stafford PLLC, and is a past-President of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Southern Conference of Bar Presidents, the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Bar Association of the U.S. Fifth Circuit, and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He is also an author of, co-author of, and contributing writer to more than a dozen legal books and over forty articles.  He has presented over 400 major papers in the U.S., Canada, and England on legal ethics, finance, appellate law, real estate, and legal writing. Mike’s latest legal book, on Louisiana finance and real estate, is THE LOUISIANA LAW OF SECURITY DEVICES, A PRÉCIS (Lexis/Nexis). Mike has dipped his hand in fictional writing with his first novel, a legal thriller, entitled THE COTTONCREST CURSE, published by LSU Press and released nationally in September, 2014.
