Two Free CLE Seminars Offered on Jan. 17
Two free CLEs will be offered in conjunction with this year's Midyear Meeting; both programs will take place on Thursday, January 17, 2013. Navigating Mass Torts, Class Actions and Consumer Litigation: Avoiding Self-Inflicted Wounds, a popular LSBA section CLE, will be led by Richard J. Arsenault and Val P. Exnicios. This program has applied for two CLE credit hours. Advocacy for the Ages - Cicero Speaks to the Generations & Genders will offer 2.5 CLE credit hours in professionalism. YLD to Present Professional Development CLE on Jan. 18
The Louisiana State Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division will present its annual Professional Development CLE seminar on Friday, Jan. 18. The seminar is open to the first 175 young lawyers who register. The program is approved for 4 hours of CLE credit (including 1 hour of ethics, 1 hour of professionalism and 1 hour of law practice management). The registration cost is $30 and includes electronic course materials, breakfast and valet parking at the New Orleans Marriott at the Convention Center (859 Convention Center Blvd.). Onsite registration will not be allowed unless space is available. Topics to be discussed include ethics, law practice management issues and professionalism.
