Lawyers in Libraries Programs Set for Oct. 22-27 The LSBA “Lawyers in Libraries” week of service, held in conjunction with National Celebrate Pro Bono Week, will be held from Oct. 22-27 in public libraries in every parish.During this week, LSBA members will provide free, limited services to the public at local libraries statewide. Attorneys may provide general "Ask-a-Lawyer" 15-minute consultations on civil issues, or classroom-style presentations on common topics (i.e. divorce, expungement). The LSBA week of service coincides with National Celebrate Pro Bono week. LSBA members are encouraged to locally promote events in their communities.
