Judge Dismisses Boudreaux v. Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Supreme Court, et al On January 13, 2020, Judge Lance M. Africk of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana dismissed the lawsuit filed by attorney Randy Boudreaux against the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Supreme Court and the Justices of the Court.“The leadership of the LSBA is pleased with Judge Africk’s dismissal of this challenge. We will continue to focus primarily on our regulatory functions, as well as the myriad services and programs we provide to both our members and the public,” commented LSBA President Robert A. Kutcher of Metairie. “We have closely monitored litigation in other states, and the Judge’s well-reasoned decision is consistent with other district and appellate court results,” he added.
