LIFT "Flood Proof" Webinar Scheduled for Dec. 12 The LSBA LIFT Incubator Program has scheduled a webinar for attorneys who are interested in learning more about the Flood Proof Project in Baton Rouge.The one-hour webinar, scheduled for noon on Wednesday, Dec. 12, will provide information about the project, application process and compensation for LIFT fellows. Interested participants can register for free here. The purpose of Flood Proof is to increase access to civil legal help for low-income disaster victims to resolve heir property problems and home ownership disputes in the wake of Louisiana’s catastrophic flooding in August 2016. Louisiana licensed attorneys who have been practicing for less than six years and who are interested in opening a public interest solo practice in Baton Rouge are encouraged to apply.
