LSBA Expands the LIFT Incubator Program Statewide The LIFT Legal Incubator and Accelerator Program helps new attorneys develop social justice law firms that address the unmet legal needs of modest means clients. The program has ten Fellows with solo practices in the Greater New Orleans metro area and Baton Rouge and is currently in the process of expanding statewide. Through collaborations with legal aid and local nonprofit legal organizations, the LIFT expansion process will involve, first, identifying unmet legal needs in various areas of the states, and second, developing program models to specifically address those needs and thus cultivating the next generation of access to justice bar leaders.
