Public Comment Period Open on Proposed Amendments to Federal Rules On August 14, 2015, the Judicial Conference Advisory Committees on Bankruptcy and Evidence Rules published proposed amendments to their respective rules, and requested that the proposals be circulated to the bench, bar, and public for comment. The public comment period is open for proposed amendments to: Bankruptcy Rules 1001 and 1006; and Evidence Rules 803 and 902. The proposed amendments, rules committee reports explaining the proposed changes, and instructions on how to submit comments are posted on uscourts.gov. The public comment period ends February 16, 2016.
