Public Comment Period Open for Proposed District Court Rule Amendments The Louisiana Supreme Court’s Court Rules Committee has opened the 30-day public comment period on the proposed District Court Rule amendments for spring 2016. The comment period will continue through Sunday, May 15. All comments should be received (not postmarked) by this date. The proposed amendments are posted on the Supreme Court’s website, http://www.lasc.org. Interested parties who wish to comment on the draft during the 30-day period may do so via electronic mail, facsimile or U.S. mail. Direct all emails to: distctrules@lasc.org. Once the 30-day period has expired, the Court Rules Committee will review all comments, make any changes it deems appropriate, and then submit a final draft to the Supreme Court for review and possible approval.
