CLE Compliance Requirements Listed for Board-Certified Specialists

In accordance with the requirements of the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization (LBLS), board-certified attorneys in a specific field of law must meet a minimum CLE requirement for the calendar year ending Dec. 31, 2013. CLE credits will be computed on a calendar year basis and all attendance information shall be delivered to the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Department. Deadline for filing annual CLE is Jan. 31 of the following year. Failure to timely report specialization CLE hours will result in a penalty assessment.
