Supreme Court Seeking Comments on Proposed Amendment to RPC 1.5(f)(2) The Louisiana Supreme Court is seeking comments through March 1 from Bar members and the public. The proposed amendment to Rule of Professional Conduct 1.5(f)(2) would require attorneys who charge fixed or minimum fees to enter into a written agreement with the client specifying, among other things, that the funds will be used by the lawyer when paid and will not be placed in a trust account.
