Leadership LSBA Class to Host Event to Gain Volunteers for Disaster Relief Efforts

The 2017-18 LSBA Leadership Class is hosting “Bar Relief: When Disaster Strikes, the Bar is Here,” an organization fair to raise awareness for disaster relief volunteer opportunities.

Louisiana has unfortunately been hit with numerous natural disasters over the years. Most recently, the devastation brought on by the Great Flood of 2016 and Hurricane Harvey have spurred a need in local organizations for volunteers who are willing to get involved when disasters strike. All bar members are invited to attend to learn more about these organizations that help with disaster relief efforts in various ways.

There is NO COST TO ATTEND. Cash bar and drink specials are available.

This event will be held on two separate days in two separate locations:
New Orleans: Friday, April 6 from 5-7 p.m. at Red-Eye Bar and Grill (852 S. Peters St.)
Visit the "Bar Relief: New Orleans" Facebook event page.

Lafayette: Saturday, April 7 from 2-5 p.m. at The Tap Room (201 Settlers Trace Blvd., Ste. 4001)
Visit the "Bar Relief: Lafayette" Facebook event page.
