LIFT Incubator Seeking New Attorney Applicants in Shreveport

The LSBA’s LIFT Program and the Justice & Accountability Center (JAC) seek social justice entrepreneurs for a new incubator project in Shreveport.

Attorneys would work under the Juvenile Re-Entry Assistance Program to support successful transition to the community by reducing barriers to public housing, employment, and/or educational opportunities. This incubator project is for new or transitioning attorneys starting their own solo or small firm law practice in Shreveport. During the 15-month program, two incubator attorneys will receive training, resources, and a $15,000 stipend for the representation provided. Mentorship for expungements, housing and government benefits will be provided by JAC and partner organizations.

The deadline to apply is August 18. Click here to learn more.
