LSBA Family Law Section Schedules Seminar for Nov. 14 The LSBA Family Law Section will host a seminar on Nov. 14 titled, “Empirical Analysis of Child Custody Schedules and the Impact of Steroid and/or Drug Use on Parenting Skills.” This intermediate/advanced program is designed for attorneys, judges, hearing officers, custody evaluators and other professionals who want a better understanding of the specific child custody schedules that are in the best interest of children at particular age levels. This knowledge will assist in the presentation of such schedules during litigation. Additionally, this seminar will provide specific information concerning the emotional and psychological effect of steroids and other drug use and the impact of such substances on parenting skills, which should be considered in the formulation of a child custody schedule. The seminar will take place at the Crown Plaza New Orleans Airport Hotel, 2829 Williams Blvd., Kenner. The program has applied for up to 6 credit hours.
