For the last ten years, the LSBA has convened a Conclave on Diversity in the Legal Profession. The LSBA chose to host a "conclave" rather than a "meeting" because a conclave signifies "an assembly or gathering, especially one that has special authority, power, or influence.

Registration:
Registration (AFTER February 9, 2018) $90.00
Full registration includes access to conference sessions, lunch, coffee breaks, and electronic course materials. Written course materials will be available for a $40.00 fee and MUST be reserved in advance.

If you are not an attorney, you cannot register online. Please click here and print the 2018 Non-Attorney Registration Form. Submission instructions are on the form. The registration fee for legal staff is the same fee indicated for attorneys.
Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received by the LSBA. Electronic confirmation of your registration will be sent within ten business days of receipt of payment if registration is received by mail or fax (sent to the email address of record with the LSBA) or upon completion of payment process if registering online.
Program sessions are subject to limited attendance due to the facility capacity constraints, so please pre-register for your desired courses, this includes morning breakout sessions. The LSBA is not responsible for any expenses associated with travel, lodging, or other costs incurred by the registrant, including in the event that the LSBA must cancel the conference for any reason.
Audio or video recording or transcription of any portion of the seminar is prohibited unless express consent is granted by the LSBA.
Registration Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be received in writing and sent to diversity@lsba.org; telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellations received in writing before February 16, 2018, will be fully refunded minus a $30.00 administrative fee. If written confirmation of cancellation is not received by February 16, 2018, no refunds or credits will be issued of any kind. Credits will be processed within two weeks of the cancellation request.
On-site registration will be available, however, payment is possible by check only. Credit card payments will not be accepted.

Hotel cancellation policy:
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card by Tuesday, February 6, 2018 and the credit card will be charged a deposit of one night's room and tax when reservations are made. Any requests received after February 6, 2018 will be handled on a space and rate availability basis only. Please note that if your plans change and you do not timely cancel your room reservation by March 6, 2018, you are responsible for the room charge.
Wi-Fi Access
Please note that wireless access will not be available in the conference area (on the third floor where the program will be held) and electrical outlets may be limited.

Ritu Bhasin, Founder and Principal, Bhasin Consulting, Inc., Toronto. Recognized globally for her diversity and leadership expertise, Bhasin has received a number of awards and distinctions for her work. She has extensive experience in delivering programming, consulting, and coaching across a range of people management areas with a focus on leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and the advancement of women. She works primarily with senior leadership teams, boards of directors, middle management, and emerging leader groups, including women and diverse professionals. Bhasin is also the author of "The Authenticity Principle," highlighted below:
