The Rules of Professional Conduct Committee has revised the original set of proposed rules, as of 12/18/2006, following an evaluation of comments received and recent changes made to the Florida rules on lawyer advertising.

The LSBA Rules of Professional Conduct Committee held public hearings to invite and receive comments on the proposed new advertising and solicitation rules:

• Side-by-Side Comparison of Proposed Rules to Current Louisiana Rules
• Proposed Special Rules of Procedure of the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association for Debate of the Resolution by the Rules of Professional Conduct Committee Proposing Changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct Concerning Lawyer Advertising In Louisiana
