Shannon Seiler Dartez is an attorney with the Glenn Armentor Law Corporation in Lafayette. She received a BA degree in 1990 from Louisiana State University and her JD degree in 1994 from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. She was admitted to practice in Louisiana in 1994.
Dartez served on the Louisiana State Bar Association’s (LSBA) Board of Governors as the Third Board District representative from 2002-05 and 2017-20. She is a member of the LSBA House of Delegates and the LSBA’s Insurance Committee, previously chairing the Group Insurance Committee. She is the recipient of the 2002 LSBA Young Lawyers Division’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.
She is a former president of the Lafayette Bar Association (2021-22) and a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice and Louisiana Workers Advocates (WILG). She also is a member of the Louisiana Workers Comp Advisory Council.
In her community, she is a graduate of the Leadership Institute of Acadiana’s Leadership Lafayette, where she chaired the Junior Leadership program for two years. She is a former president of both the Junior League of Lafayette and Healing House, Hope for Grieving Children.
She is the mother of two children and has two grandchildren.
