Todd Clemons is a Lake Charles attorney and founder of Todd Clemons and Associates. His practice focuses on criminal defense, personal injury and general civil litigation. He has more than 35 years of legal experience and has tried more than 125 jury tirals to verdict in state and federal courts. 

Clemons received his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his JD, magna cum laude, from Southern University Law Center. He is a former assistant district attorney for Calcasieu Parish and served for 12 years as an assistant United States attorney in the Western District of Louisiana. He also served as a judge pro tempore in the 14th Judicial District.  

Clemons is a member of the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board and previously served for 10 years on the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions as a bar examiner. He currently serves on the Testing Committee for the Committee on Bar Admissions. He also serves on the LSBA Board of Governors. 

He has been active in community and civic organizations, including service on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana, where he served as president, and the SOWELA Foundation Board, where he also served as president. He is a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and served as Ninth District representative. 

Clemons is a member of Christian Baptist Church, where he serves as moderator and on the board of directors. He and his wife, Stefanie, have two children and three grandchildren.
