Amy J. Miller is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Louisiana where she serves in the Criminal Division as a federal prosecutor. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Miller was in private practice for more than ten years as a civil litigator and also served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Third Judicial District.
Miller received her undergraduate from Louisiana State University-Shreveport and her JD from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. She is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Arkansas. She is a former member of the LSBA House of Delegates where she represented the Third Judicial District and a current member of the Lincoln Parish Bar Association and Northeast Louisiana Bar Foundation.
In her community, Miller has served on the Board of Control of the Lincoln Parish Library and the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Monroe. She is a member of Trinity Methodist Church and enjoys the small-town life in Ruston with her husband and their two children.
