Transition Into Practice (TIP) Voluntary Mentoring Program
As the Supreme Court has formally approved the Transition into Practice (TIP) Program for new admitees commencing, the LSBA through its Committee on the Profession is implementing the program now. The TIP Program will be available to new attorneys admitted into practice in 2015, with pilot programs in Baton Rouge, Shreveport and greater New Orleans. Even if a prospective mentor does not live or practice in these areas, they are still encouraged to sign up as the goal is to soon have the program available statewide.
The program will match one mentor with a mentee, and mentors as will receive CLE credit for their participation. This is an excellent opportunity to assist a newly admitted attorney and the Bar certainly appreciates all volunteers.
