Louisiana Supreme Court Amends Rule XXVII The Louisiana Supreme Court has amended Rule XXVII to establish procedures for matters in which both a district attorney and the Louisiana attorney general are recused.The amendment takes effect Aug. 1, 2026. The amended Rule XXVII provides a procedure for referring a matter to the Supreme Court when both officials are recused.
