Senior Lawyers Luncheon Set for Jan. 17 The Senior Lawyers Division will host a luncheon on Friday, Jan. 17, in conjunction with the 2020 LSBA Midyear Meeting in Baton Rouge.The luncheon will take place at Juban's Restaurant (3739 Perkins Rd., Baton Rouge) at noon on Friday, Jan. 17. All senior members of the Bar are invited to attend. The two-course luncheon will be an opportunity for members to discuss programming that will provide services and support to the members of the Bar who are over the age of 65. SLD Chair Edward J. Walters, Jr. will preside over the meeting and guest speaker Kirk Vidrine of V-Well Solutions will present on "Nutrition Myths & the Truth about Carbs." Vidrine has a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and has spent 18 years as a wellness professional demystifying the complex world of nutrition in order to provide simple solutions to help people create a real difference in their lives. His presentation goes through current nutrition myths along with a full breakdown on the modern carbohydrate debate. Come in for an eye-opening seminar that will help you understand the complex world of nutrition. The cost of the lunch is $28.
