The American workplace continues to be a prolific source of legal issues and claims, and significant changes in labor and employment law under the Trump administration have been occurring at a faster pace than ever. This popular annual seminar will keep employment law practitioners up to date on the latest developments in this dynamic field. This year’s program will include the always informative and entertaining recent developments presentation by Professor William Corbett; the many developments from the employment agency we deal with the most: the EEOC; a presentation on AI, which is a huge issue for employers and lawyers; a presentation on best practices in the world of mediation and dispute resolution; a presentation from Allison Jones from the plaintiff lawyers’ perspective on summary judgments and the status of the McDonnell Douglas framework; and of course; your one hour of Ethics on the important and controversial issue of DEI.
