Bridging The Gap Seminar

Bridging the Gap is a bi-annual CLE seminar which acquaints recent law school graduates with many of the practical aspects of a law practice and to afford newly admitted active members of the Louisiana Bar the opportunity to obtain their full first MCLE reporting requirement.

This two-day program is presented by skilled, highly respected practitioners and jurists to learn practical information that hopefully will serve new attorneys well throughout their legal careers.

The program is held in May and October following the Bar Admissions ceremony.  The current Bridging the Gap Seminar will held on May 7 and May 8, 2024.

The program generally inlcudes topics such as Wills & Successions, Trust Accounting, Conflicts of Interests, Lawyer Advertising, Attorney Client Relationship, Appellate Practice, and much more. Here is the May 2024 schedule.

TIP Mentees attend for a discounted price as part of their program.
