Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. A confirmation email, including more detailed information on the hotel and area attractions, will be sent prior to the program.
Seminar Materials! This program is Paper-Free! Electronic program materials are accessible via a link sent prior to the seminar, to the email address of record you provided to the LSBA. We suggest you print the materials in advance and bring them with you. If you choose to review the materials from your electronic device, we strongly suggest you charge the device’s battery, as electrical outlets may be limited. Internet access will not be available in the meeting room.
CLE CREDITS: This program has been approved a maximum of CLE credit, including ethics and professionalism, AND 1 hour of Family Law Specialization credit AND 4.5 hours of Appellate Practice Specialization credit.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS -
The room rate at the InterContinental New York Times Square is $299 (single/double occupancy per night excluding taxes. Taxes for 2022 include 14.75% plus $1.50 Javits Center tax and $2.00 New York City Occupancy Room Tax per room per night occupied, bringing the grand total to $343.10/night.
PLEASE NOTE! If you are staying at the InterContinental New York Times Square, a hotel confirmation for your stay will be emailed to you directly from the hotel. Please note that an amenity fee will appear on your confirmation as “additional charges” and automatically added to your confirmation. These charges are waived for LSBA seminar attendees. The above rate will be honored only on Nov. 15 (arrival date)-Nov. 24 (departure date). Members are urged to register early, as there are only a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rate listed above.
RESERVATION CUT OFF DATE EXTENDED!
Cut off date for reservations is 3:00 p.m. on OCTOBER 25, 2023. Reservation requests received after this date are subject to guest room availability. Prevailing rates will apply. The LSBA room block is reserved for seminar attendees only. In order to reserve a hotel room (2 rooms maximum allowed), you must be registered for the seminar.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:
Check in is 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 11 a.m. If arriving early, sleeping rooms may not be available. Luggage may be stored with the hotel’s guest services staff. There may be a late charge for departures after 12 noon.
RESERVATION CONFIRMATION/CANCELLATION - (INTERCONTINENTAL NEW YORK TIMES SQUARE)
A major credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. VISA, MasterCard, American Express, IHG Chase MasterCard, Diners Club, Discover, and JCB are accepted. If you are not using a credit card, you must submit a one-night deposit check for $335.13 (includes all taxes, per room per night occupied, payable to the InterContinental New York Times Square. The deposit will be refunded if cancellation notice is received at least three (3) working days prior to arrival, and a cancellation number is obtained.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS (LSBA)
Cancellation of registration must be received in writing by the LSBA no later than Friday, Oct. 20. Cancellations will receive a full refund, less a $30 administrative charge. Absolutely no refunds will be made after Friday, Oct. 20.

Participation Fee:
• 4-day participation is required. A daily rate is not available.
• $23.71 per person per day (not including tax and service charge), will be included on each hospitality suite participant’s hotel bill as a daily resort fee;
• Only those who sign up in advance and pay the fee may enter the hospitality suite, as the hotel will prepare for only those guests who have preregistered for this amenity.
