Co-Sponsored by the LSBA Appellate Section - Members Receive a $25 Discount!

Seminar chairs Thomas Flanagan and Eva Dossier have assembled an all-star cast of state and federal judges for the 2023 advanced appellate practice seminar. Aside from 11 sitting judges (and justices), speakers include veteran appellate advocates who practice in Louisiana and on a national stage.  Learn about best practices for oral argument and brief-writing before the appellate courts and Louisiana Supreme Court; meet the newest judge on the U.S. Fifth Circuit as she is interviewed by one of her colleagues; and hear about federal appellate practice from a former U.S. Solicitor General and Fifth Circuit judge.
