Second African American President of the Lafayette Young Lawyers Association


Travis Broussard is to be named the first male African-American president of the Lafayette Young Lawyers Association on September 29, 2016 at Iberia Bank in Lafayette, LA.

Mr. Broussard is currently an associate of Durio, McGoffin, Stagg and Ackerman (DMSA), having joined the firm in 2011. He is an active member of the Lafayette Parish Bar Association and also acts as an adjunct professor of law at Southern University Law Center.

Mr. Broussard is a 2010 graduate of Southern University Law Center achieving cum laude. Earlier this year, Mr. Broussard was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of Business Litigation (2016).
