Ethics in Mediation
How can the mediator be effective in helping parties to reach agreement while at the same time remaining ethical within the principles articulated by the Model Standards of Conduct for Mediators? This webinar will address complex and real-life ethical scenarios that confront mediators during a mediation. A panel of experienced mediators will consider ethical issues that challenge the mediator and suggest what to do and what not to do when these issues arise.

Clients of immigration attorneys are not familiar with the U.S. legal system, so they are unaware of their rights most of the time. Dedication to ethical conduct and adherence to ethics rules are fundamental to our professionalism. A lawyer new to immigration practice quickly learns that it involves far more than completing forms for submission to the government or guiding a foreign national through an administrative hearing."
