This CLE explores how to identify survivors of sex trafficking, the laws that affect survivors and the resources available to survivors.  Survivors of sex trafficking often appear in criminal court as criminal defendants and are often hard to identify. Participation is needed between government agencies, prosecution offices, law enforcement, public defenders, and not-for profit organizations to ensure survivors are identified and traffickers are apprehended.
