Louisiana e-Discoverye-Discovery:  Electronic data has made discovery complicated, even in the simplest of cases.  In April 2013, the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) went under review by the Civil Rules Advisory Committee to address, among other thing, e-discovery.  New rules were created with many taking effect in December 2015.  These resources will help:

HIPAA Compliance:  The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) mandates the protection of sensitive patient data.  Any company, including law firms, that deal with protected health information must ensure that the required physical, network, and process security measures are in place and followed.
