Brian P. Wiggins was appointed Judicial Administrator on April 1, 2026. Over the course of his 17-year tenure with the Louisiana Supreme Court, Wiggins has held several key leadership positions, including Chief Deputy Judicial Administrator and Deputy Judicial Administrator for Language Access and Trial Court Services. In these roles, he has led major statewide initiatives aimed at improving access to justice, strengthening court operations, and enhancing coordination between the judiciary and other branches of government.
Before joining the judiciary, Wiggins served as an attorney for the Louisiana House of Representatives and worked in the Office of the Governor under both Governor Mike Foster and Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco.
A native of Houma, Louisiana, Wiggins earned his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Public Administration, and Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Brian P.
