ATJ Commission Position: Louisiana Legal Services Corporation Appointment (ALSC)

Sachida R. Raman, received his J.D. from Tulane Law School in 1991. He is the Executive Director at Acadiana Legal Service Corporation (ALSC), in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was the 2005 President of the Lafayette Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the 2008-09 Chair of the LSBA Pro Se Subcommittee. He currently is a member of the LSBA Access to Justice Committee. He is the recipient of the 2007 LSBA State Career Public Interest Award and the first recipient of the LSBA Legal Service Excellence in Advocacy Award in 2015. He is the author of the 2013 Loyola Law School/Louisiana Legal Services and Pro Bono Desk Manual on Family Law. He is a frequent CLE presenter in Family Law, Professionalism, and Domestic Violence laws.
